For Master Gardeners:
Your volunteer service by gardening and educating others is primarily how you apply the subject matter you learn in the Master Gardener Program. Be "in the know" about the following Wisconsin Master Gardener program requirements.
To Remain "Active:"
For the upcoming year of 2024, Master Gardeners must report a minimum of 1 hour volunteer service and 1 hour CE (continuing education) to remain active.
To be Fully "Certified:"
To be fully certified, Master Gardeners must report 24 hours of volunteer service and 10 hours CE (continuing education) in 2024.
The number of hours that you report in 2024 will determine whether or not you are active or certified for 2025.
Note: You MUST enter your hours into the Wisconsin Master Gardener Program, Division of Extension ORS (Online Reporting System) by no later than December 31st, 2024.
