Our Mission

The mission of the St. Croix Valley Master Gardeners Association is to provide community service through education, environmental stewardship, and to provide information on horticulture to the residents of Wisconsin's Pierce and St. Croix counties.
Master Gardeners in Wisconsin's Pierce and St. Croix Counties have been trained and certified by the University of Wisconsin Extension. We work with our communities to provide St. Croix Valley residents with up-to-date, reliable, science-based knowledge so they can enjoy horticulture and protect the environment around their homes and in their communities. We work with adults, students in both urban and rural settings. The St. Croix Valley Master Gardener Association (SCVMGA) is a nonprofit organization, local affiliate of Master Gardeners who live in these counties. SCVMGA provides support to Master Gardener members through continuing education and volunteer opportunities to help them maintain their credentials. SCVMGA also provides support to the communities through environmental stewardship, and information on horticulture.
